Get to know MOSS firsthand
MOSS, who have been with us for many years, we appreciate. How does MOSS see? Read their stories – they will tell you them yourself.
I am responsible for storing goods for the group of customers, guarding and optimizing inventory, packing goods on pallets or training new colleagues. I like space around myself, I can not sit in the office which is why I enjoy my job.
I'm a woodworker, but I did the carpentry only briefly, right after school, I started to work with MOSS at the recommendation of a friend. I'm already in the 15th year in the Mosaic warehouses. I initially worked as a warehouse, we had only two carts, everything was pulling manually, stock records were made in excellence. Today, thanks to new technologies, we have plenty of storage technology and work is easier.
At present, I am responsible for storing a group of customers, guarding and optimizing inventory, packing goods on pallets, training new colleagues. I like space around myself, I can not sit in the office, so I enjoy this job.
In MOSS no one is forced to ride on unpaid broken district roads, there are decent company facilities, car repair does not last for a month. Everywhere you get sometimes upset but I have worked here for 13 years and I've already reached over 2.5 million kilometers.
It wasn´t my childhood dream to become a professional driver but I considered steering wheel as fun. I ran a taxi before, but because I come from Hustopeče and knew the owner of MOSS, I agreed with starting working here in 2005. From the beginning I have been delivering mostly urgent shipments and untill these day I have reached over 2.5 million kilometers.
Unlike the others who want to ride a big truck, my van suits me best. On my ways I like to look around for sightseeing - it would be impossible with the truck. With VAN I can stop the car, go for a walk, visit nice villages or other places. France is the best, I also enjoyed great time in Edinburgh, I love Norway.
At the beginning I talked to my dispatcher about my driving, about conditions and cooperation. And it´s still on, my cooperation with dispatchers is good. I have my salary every month on my account, i like it here and have no reason to leave. In MOSS they understand that I am a person who has a family, and they come to meet my requests.
Prior to joining MOSS in 2014, I had several work experience as a truck driver. But I was always nervous, I was more like a machine than a man. When I needed time off, it was a problem. MOSSacks I met on the road and were happy, so I got to MOSS on board. And I do not regret - what I set up at the dispatching center is no problem. I have money every month in my account, and I do not have to go anywhere. They understand in the company that I am a person who has a family, and they come to meet me. Just transport with a human face.
Although I'm going to work 50 miles, but it's worth it. Finally, I'm doing a solid business where I know what I'm about - and I'm in peace. Working conditions are good here, I have no reason to change, MOSS just suits me.
We are a stable and well-coordinated team in our office - our work requires cooperating as much as possible. This is the only way for doing our job properly and with fun.
In MOSS I deal with the administrative part of the warehousing expedition - I prepare the documents for the delivery drivers. I've been working here for 14 years now and because I live nearby I ride a bike to work when possible. We are not only colleagues in the office but after those years also good friends. There is much laughing during the working day, we do not take ourselves very seriously, have glass of wine after work... I met my boyfriend at company grill party seven years ago - Luboš works as an international driver in MOSS.
warehouse logistics specialist
I like being the master of my time and would not be able to work as "robot" in the factory. I recognize new places while driving across the republic. When the delivering is done I like to walk around the city and find many interesting places. If it´s worth I return on the motorbike - that's my big hobby.
I have been distributing goods from the warehouse to the stores all over the country for 14 years. First I drove a truck but I wanted to spend more time at home with my family. That is why I changed MOSS vehicles and destinations. I have been in the company since MOSS has started logistics services and warehousing. There were only five drivers, today there are twenty of them. I enjoy my job - my vehicle is loaded with electronical appliances by warehousemen in the morning. I just sit in and drive to several unloading spots that my dispatchers planned the day before. I'm home once or twice a week and I have free weekends.
MOSS started on a green meadow with a few vehicles and now we have nearly 300 of them. I'm proud I could have contributed to the development of the company. It's a very good feeling and I really appreciate it.
I started as a driver in MOSS, driving all over Europe with various types of vehicles. Preferably Sweden and England, these were my favorite destinations. After a while when the chance occured I decided to work as a dispatcher. Driving helped me a lot at the beginning - I knew the routes and approximate times for destinations. I also had a better picture of loading cars, or distribution - driving for years was worth it.
Today I plan transport on small vehicles that carry lighter loads. I talk to drivers about their routes, terms of unloading and communicate with customers as well. One must always be alert because each shipment is different. But even though it's a tough job thanks to almost 13 years of experience I work with care and insight. After work I relax with fishing lane around the pond - fishing is my big hobby.
After those years I can see where the company moved.
export dispatcher, Hustopeče
Today we have a modern service, a spare parts store and a guaranteed job because we have 300 cars in MOSS. I'm a pragmatist, so I appreciate the stability of the company. I have been working here eleventh year and I'm happy.
When I was deciding what to do, I wanted to be a bricklayer or plumber. But both my parents worked in ČSAD and decided to be an autoelectric, because it is less dirty than a classic car mechanic. And so it was, and I've been doing my mechanics all my life. I had car repairs as a business before, but I still had to deal with unpaid invoices and other issues. After the MOSS offer came, I hooked my business to the nail.
When I look back today, the beginnings were pretty funny - we had a superstructure from the old V3Ska and we were repairing cars in the open for the first year. Today we have a modern service, a spare parts store and a guaranteed job because we have 300 cars in MOSS. It might seem like I'm still doing the same, and I'm not moving anywhere, but it's not. With the improvement of cars and the ever-improved technology, I'm still learning something new. I'm a pragmatist, so I appreciate the firm's stability. I have been working here eleventh year and I'm happy.
I have a pedagogy, but after five years of learning I needed a change. I entered the MOSS as a ward, and when I got in the reception area, I signed up. Work at the reception desk is less physically demanding than in the warehouse, but again I employ my head. I enjoy it and my days run like water.
I have a pedagogy, but after five years of learning I needed a change. I entered the MOSS as a wardrobe, worked in stock with sports shoes and household supplies. I picked out the goods, according to the delivery notes, which then sold the cars across the stores across Europe. When the receptionist vacated, I tried to apply for a tender and went out.
Work on the reception is, of course, less physically demanding than in the warehouse, but on the other hand, I employ my head again. I have the responsibility for posting, classing incoming invoices, switching telephones, and dealing with all the issues that are meeting at the reception. I'm more in touch with people, it's not such a routine. I enjoy it and my days run like water.
